Growing up on Southern Maryland’s Potomac River, Andy Burch has lived in Richmond, VA for the past 14 years. Andy started his journey in Richmond at the 5 Star/5 Diamond Jefferson Hotel as a strong leader executing private events and gatherings for VIP guests ranging from high profile celebrities and politicians to corporate executives. His time in hospitality provided a stepping-stone into luxury property management where he managed a team to lease high-end apartments while maintaining rapport with his existing residents. He was numerously awarded company wide for being top producer and most closed transactions.Over the years, Andy has become an esteemed realtor, highly regarded by his clients, investors, and professionals in the field including his previous business partner in which he helped to create a real estate and property management company. Andy recognizes and values the trust his clients place in him and strives every day to exceed their expectations while providing clients with a realistic outlook on what they can expect to achieve in today’s market. Andy is communicative, thorough, and detail-oriented – and will be alongside you every step of the way.In Andy’s words, “I pride myself on my accessibility and response time; late-night calls and texts are welcomed and considered normal to me. Time is extremely important in most real estate transactions – don’t want to miss out on anything. I form deep bonds with my clients to create our own unstoppable team to make the best deal possible! Each client and situation is unique.”When Andy’s taking a break, he is an adventurous traveler and enjoys destinations like the Caribbean, the Outer Banks, or a quick trip to the mountains. You might also see him out enjoying one of Richmond’s latest restaurants with friends and family. In his spare time, he likes to work on projects around his house in Richmond’s Byrd Park or relaxing with his – still rambunctious—13-year-old yellow lab (and best friend), Daphnie.
This is the second time we bought property with Andy as our realtor. He is one of the best realtor I have had the privilege working with. He always put our needs and interests first. Andy was able to find us properties that meet our criteria and toured a lot of them. He is very proactive in answering our questions and inquiries and also provided us great comps that we used to decide on the offer price when submitting offers. Given the home shortage and the price bidding that is going on in the current market, having Andy by outside helped us check our emotions and not to get into unnecessary price bidding. He is very knowledgeable in the area and educated us on many aspects of the home buying process. Andy is the best realtor and looking forward to work with him again!
Andy was very knowledgeable about all points during the whole process. He always had an answer for our questions. We felt like we could text him anytime for anything. He’s very personable and quite fun! I wish we could use him again but we’re moving across the country. I would highly recommend him to anyone as an agent and honestly as a friend.
Andy was an amazing realtor, he was ready to look at houses on the weekends and made sure to send us properties that he thought were a fit. During showings he was very attentive to detail, pointed out cosmetic issues or any possible issues with professionalism and made sure we were educated and aware of the decision we were making. The process was easy and effortless, with this current market Andy was able to help us find our first home at a great value. Andy was funny, caring and kept an eye out for our wishlist. The best part was once we closed he provided us a drawing of our first home and took a picture of us. Even left a gift card. I will always speak highly of Andy and recommend him to anyone. I hope this helps, because i know he will. 🙂
